Retd. Policeman Shot his sons; One dead, second in ventilator
A retired policeman shot his two young sons late on Monday night in Navi Mumbai. One of them is dead and the other is battling between life and death. In the initial investigation, the reason is being told to be a domestic dispute. The condition of the surviving son is also critical. Doctors have taken out the bullet, but he is still kept on ventilator. He is being treated at Indravati Hospital in Airoli.
Investigation has revealed that both the sons were living separately from the father. The voices of frequent quarrels between the three were heard by the neighbors. According to the Navi Mumbai Police, late on Monday night, Bhagwan Patil called both sons Vijay and Ajay to the house and again a fight broke out between the three. Patil then fired four bullets at his sons. In this, one bullet hit the glass and two bullets hit the elder son Vijay's stomach. One bullet has hit the younger son. Neighbors took both to a nearby hospital. The eldest son died during treatment.
Dispute over money for car servicing A Navi Mumbai Police officer investigating the case said that a dispute started between 71-year-old retired police officer Bhagwan Patil and his sons over servicing the vehicle. After this, the situation came to the first fight and then he fired 4 bullets from his pistol. The accused did not run away after the incident. For now, we have arrested him.
