BJP will again take refuge in Ram in UP's election campaign

 

The BJP, which has succumbed to the issue of Bengali identity of Mamata Banerjee in the West Bengal elections, will now resort to those issues which will be emotionally related to the general public in the UP assembly elections. According to reliable sources of the party, BJP will draw the blueprint of the entire campaign by keeping the Ram temple at the center. The BJP high command also agrees that the way Mamata Banerjee raised the issue of Bengali identity, it turned the tide in Bengal. Similarly, people can easily be connected by raising the issue of Ram Mandir.

A former state president of BJP said in a conversation , 'The party will go to the UP elections only by keeping the issues related to nationalism at the center. The intention of the party is that the Ram temple should be kept at the center because it is the biggest achievement of the BJP. Especially for the people of UP, it is like an emotional attachment.

He continued, 'You see, don't you? The way the issue of Bengali identity dominated the Bengal elections, it helped Mamta a lot in winning the election. Such issues are always effective which are related to the feelings of the people. In view of this, in the coming days, a campaign will be launched in the name of Ayodhya to bring the workers to the grass root level.

BJP sources said that the election campaign has been kept in two phases. For the time being, the focus will be on the public welfare programs run by the party regarding the epidemic. But as the elections approach, the public's attention will be shifted to those issues which will be related to the Hindutva image of the BJP.

This is how BJP's planning will be done

The election campaign of the UP Vidhan Sabha will be divided into two phases.

In the first phase, the focus will be on the issues related to the people and the good works of the government.

Just before the elections, in the second phase, the Ram temple will be taken forward by keeping it at the center.

The public's attention will gradually be shifted towards issues which are emotionally connected.

There will be an attempt to capitalize on the Hindutva image by telling Ram temple as its achievement.

The focus will be on the connectivity of the workers.

Party leaders say that National Organization Minister BL Santosh and Radha Mohan Singh had also expressed concern during the meeting that the grass root connectivity of the workers was decreasing. Both the leaders of the party had instructed to focus more on this. Both had accepted that due to weak ground connectivity, the opposition parties are getting an opportunity to dominate. Due to this, resentment towards the government is increasing among the people.

BJP in no mood to take risks

In the second wave of the epidemic, the Yogi government has had to face the displeasure of its ministers, MPs and MLAs along with the displeasure of the way it knows. After that the party does not want to take any kind of risk. Many ministers, MLAs have expressed their displeasure by writing letters directly to CM Yogi. Because of this, the party will take up the good works of the government as well as the emotional issues.
