Riya's Blasting Discloser in Late Actor Sushant Rajput Case
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has included Riya Chakraborty's statement in its chargesheet in the drugs angle related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. According to the reports, this statement is hand-written and in this Riya has made serious allegations against Sushant's family. According to Rhea, Sushant was addicted to drugs even before meeting her. That's why they came close to him.
Family knew Sushant is a drug addict
Riya has said in her statement that Sushant used to take ganja with his sister Priyanka and brother-in-law Siddharth and they also used to bring ganja for them. According to Riya's confession, Sushant's family knew very well that he was addicted to drugs.
Riya also told NCB that when Sushant's condition started deteriorating, his brother Sauvik wanted to get him admitted to the hospital, but he did not agree to it. According to Rhea, Sushant used to meet her so that he (Sushant) could provide her drugs.
Priyanka's prescription also mentioned
In her statement, Riya also referred to the prescription that Sushant's sister Priyanka had sent to her on WhatsApp on June 8, 2020. It referred to drugs like librium 10 mg, nexito, which were drugs under the NDPS. In the prescription, Sushant was asked to take these medicines. This prescription of medicines was prepared by Delhi-based cardiologist Dr. Tarun without meeting Sushant. These medicines cannot be given without consultation.
Drugs could have killed Sushant
In her statement to the NCB, Riya specifically noted that the prescription drugs sent by Priyanka could have killed Sushant. Between June 8-12, his sister Mitu was living with him. He had given this information to the Mumbai Police.
Statement made without any fear, threat
Riya said in her statement that she had tried to get Sushant admitted to the hospital and she also has evidence for this. However, Sushant did not agree to this. Therefore it could not happen. Riya has written at the end of her statement that she was not intimidated or threatened by NCB to make such a statement. All the officers treated him well.
12 thousand pages charge sheet, statements of 200 witnesses
The Narcotics Control Bureau had filed a chargesheet before a special court in Mumbai on March 5 in the drugs angle related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14 last year. In the 12,000-page chargesheet, 33 accused, including actress and Sushant's alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Shovik, have been named. These documents contain statements of more than 200 witnesses.
NCB arrests Sushant's room partner
In late May, the investigating agency had arrested Siddharth Pithani, who was Sushant Singh Rajput's room partner, from Hyderabad. According to the report of 4 June, he has been sent to NCB custody for 14 days.
On June 14, 2020, when Sushant was found hanging in his bedroom, Pithani was also among the people present in that house. Arrest Pithani is accused of buying drugs and delivering them to Sushant under sections 27A, 28 and 29 of the NDPS Act.
