Terror module busted
Security forces got a big success in Jammu and Kashmir. Baramulla police busted a narco terror module in Uri area. 6 suspicious people have also been arrested from here. It is being feared that these people were trying to carry out some big incident.
According to the Kashmir Police, 4 pistols, 10 grenades, cash worth Rs 21 lakh, 4 vehicles and 9 kg of heroin have been recovered from the arrested people. The value of heroine in the international market is said to be around Rs 45 crore.
Earlier on Wednesday, a terrorist was killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Naugaon. According to the Kashmir Zone Police, the name of the slain terrorist is Uzair Ashraf Dar. 1 pistol, 1 ammunition magazine, 6 rounds and 2 grenades have been recovered from him.
Earlier on June 12, terrorists targeted the police and CRPF team in Baramulla. In Sopore, two policemen were martyred and two civilians were also killed in indiscriminate firing by terrorists. Lashkar-Taiba terrorists were behind the attack. Two policemen were also injured in the attack.
In March also, Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists fired on the patrolling party of CRPF. The attack was carried out in Lavepora on the outskirts of Srinagar. Two soldiers were martyred in the attack. 3 jawans were also injured in the attack. One of them died during treatment.
