Global Information System (GIS) Cell for Nayagarh

 

The Global Information System (GIS) Cell for Nayagarh district was inaugurated today. It has been set up inside the office of the Nayagarh Forest Officer. Additional PCCF PK Mallick inaugurated the cell. RCCF Manoj Mohapatra, Nayagarh DFO Dhanraj HD, SP Siddhartha Kataria were prominently present. Mr. Mallick said crime could be controlled, starting with various improvements to the GIS district administration. This can be done easily by land acquisition, afforestation, road construction and various improvements or surveys. Starting with the police, various departments like water resources, drinking water, revenue and healthcare can benefit from the GIS cell. DFO (Wildlife) Sameer Shatapathi, ACF Shwetalina Sahu, Additional District Magistrate Bidhanchandra Ray, DRDA PD Subhas Chandra Ray, former ACF of Nayagarh Arvind Mohanty, Nayagarh Forest Officer Sushant Swain were present on the occasion.
